I'm happy I was able to check off *almost* every item on the list, and for the ones I couldn't, I at least previously knew it was something I needed to work on/ should have by now (basically, I wasn't thrown off guard by any of the items.)
This one went through my mind today: By 30, you should know not to apologize for something that isn't your fault. -- I find myself saying sorry for the stupidest things. Today I was exchanging a pair of capris at Target when the clerk asked for my receipt (something I didn't have). Then he asked for the card I bought it on (again, didn't have Steve's card with me). So he sighed really loud and I said how sorry I was (and it was more than a simple sorry, which is all I should've said). Ok really, he was POUTING he had to do A LITTLE EXTRA WORK because of that. Literally one minute later, he was handing me my new pants and I was out the door. I was SOOOOOO MAD at myself for even saying sorry to
I also find myself telling Peyton sorry all the time. Sorry for bumping his leg on the table, sorry you're upset, sorry this, sorry that. I know I need to stop, because the last thing I wanna do is pass this down to him. I don't want to see my son telling everyone sorry all the time!!
Anyway, sorry about that rant. (HAHA!) Here's the list, enjoy!
