Before I was a Mom

I received an email from my friend Rachel titled, "Awesome Mom." Something that just weeks ago I would've looked at and thought nothing of, made me cry like a baby! It's SO cliche, but I can't believe how true it is. Here's just one of the versus:

"Before I was a Mom,

I never held a sleepy baby just because

I didn't want to put him down.

I never felt my heart break into a million pieces

when I couldn't stop the hurt.

I never knew that something so small

could affect my life so much.

I never knew that I could love someone so much."

This awesome quote was at the end of the email:

"May you always be overwhelmed by the Grace of God rather than by the cares of life."
