Halloween 2012.

Peyton had a fun Halloween!  I've been pumping him up over the last month by reading books and decorating the house.  Although he didn't know how to answer the question, "what do you want to be for Halloween?", he grasped the concept pretty well by Halloween day.

We dressed him as a train conductor since he's a train freak... still.  :)  So Halloween morning we got his costume on and he surprised me by totally being all into it.  He loved wearing the bandana and hat.  He knew it was all part of his costume and if one fell off, he was quick to make me put it back on.  So sweet.

We went to Joan's work in the morning for some trick-or-treating around the 911 operator stations.  He loved the attention and loved the mouthfuls of candy he had afterwards.  We met Steve's sister Jenifer and Ian there as well.

After, we went to Poncho's for lunch.  Delish!  It was fun to see all the server's dressed up.

We got home and Peyton napped.  Then Julie came over and we were off to go trick-or-treating!

This morning Peyton saw his costume and asked to put it on.  Like a good mom, I played along and said sure.  Once on, he said, "Halloween candy!" and I realized he thought it meant we'd go trick-or-treating again, haha!  He wore it all afternoon and I just love that he's at an age to where he's grasping the idea of holiday's.

All Aboard!

Scary skeleton dog.  ;)

Ginger hated the shirt ad Peyton loved how she hated it.

Getting ready to head out!
